hi guys i have a ps3 slim 2003 Model it was giving me a 8002F157 data is corrupted when i try to update so i tried to downgrade the console to get rid of this Error Code i used FSM method i have e3 card reader that worked on every PS3 i did over 100 console i patched the e3 downgrade file and switched off the ps3 to use the Dongle but i couldn't enter to FSM the dongle keeps on Blue Light and the console keeps asking for 3.70 FW or later again i've tried Rogero 4.55 , Habib 4.60 , OFW 4.50-4.65 nothing work all of them gives me the same error (8002F157) but the only one that worked is the 3.55 rogero Downgrader the console start updating and bypassed the previous error code but now on 27% i get new error (8002F147) and as i know this error is Bad BD-Drive or the BD not connected i have connected the BD and nothing changed the update stops on 27% i tried different HDD ,USB same thing i formatted the HDD and the PS3 back to request 3.70 AGAIN i inserted Original FIFA 14 Disc to check if my BD is damaged or not and the PS3 accepted the update on the Disc and start preparing for update after finish i get the same old error ( The Data Is Corrupted 8002F157) i searched in the forums for this error code but i couldn't find a clear answer

I'm not sure how you do your downgrades but with me i normally, read nor third switch up, flash nor with old school bwe nor validator to 3.55, flip all switches down i then write that back, then use e3 card reader get in fsm, Place rogero 3.55 pup and service mode 1 on root of flash drive then power on let that write, once done console will power off, i then place Lv2diag.self service mode 2 on the root of flash drive, power on ad then it will shut it self back off to get out of service mode. Then once you power back on it should be on rogero 3.55

Why is the console not on 3.55 or asking for 3.55? How are you using a E3 card reader to enter FSM on 3.70?

"3.55 rogero Downgrader the console start updating and bypassed the previous error code but now on 27%"

So the console is booting and running on rogero 999 downgrader? To repair the issue just do a entire downgrade with a e3 flasher to 3.55 then go into FSM and go from there!

Have you read the OP? He's clearly stated he's downgraded via FSM already.

Anyhow, format the HDD to NTFS via PC and then install in PS3 follow on screen directions from there.

He downgraded the ps3 but he's on 3.70? How does that happen? He's entering fsm while the console ask for 3.70? He has already formatted the hdd?

He's most likely formatting via PS3 and not PC to NTFS like suggested.
@unkn0wn.92 Use a different USB stick all together, that ps3 might not like the media your trying to use. It's happened to me occasionally, same usb I've used 100's of times won't work with a random console occasionally.

I already tried to format both of my original HDD and the other one on PC to NTFS but this didn't helped me in my case , i will try a different USB that i used and will report back here

I gave you my suggestions? You need to use a hardware flasher and downgrade to 3.55 a FULL downgrade, Formatting is not going to resolve the issue. I have done several of theses update errors like your having where it loops back wanting the same fw over and over. The only way to correct it, is by going to a lower firmware 3.55.Hope i helped
